Why do a football camp in the USA ?

Training sessions at football camps in the US are specifically designed to help the players progress as much as possible. Dribbling exercise, shooting drills, key passing training and running will improve the physical, technical and tactical aspect, all under the watchful eyes of specialist coaches. Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers live together for a week to share their passion and live the life of professionals. Team cohesion is therefore emphasised, as the players all share the use of the sporting facilities. This principle of sharing and living together leads to a strong team spirit, which becomes useful in the matches that are organised.

A few points about football in the USA

Football in the USA, which is called soccer over there, has long been considered a second class sport, after basketball, baseball and American Football which reign supreme. Recently, football has been massively expanding, and the number of registered players in the USA is second only to the number of registered players in Germany. The Major League Soccer (MLS) was created in 1996 and is the number one football division in the country. The biggest clubs face each other every year, namely clubs like L.A. Galaxy, D.C. United, Houston Dynamo and Seattle Sounders.
