Location

The sporting Facilities
Pleasant Park is a 92-acre sports and recreation complex that opened in November 2023. This modern park offers a range of high-quality facilities, including six floodlit synthetic turf multi-purpose fields suitable for sports such as football, lacrosse, cricket, and ultimate frisbee.
The park also features tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, along with a 5-kilometre cross-country trail. The “Enchanted Forest” playground, covering 1.5 acres, includes nine themed, fairy tale-inspired play villages designed to be inclusive and accessible for all ages and abilities.
For visitor comfort, the park includes two shelters with toilet facilities, a main building with offices, meeting rooms, a dining area, and changing rooms. A splash play area, “Splashlantis”, also opened in May 2024.
Pleasant Park is therefore an ideal destination for sports enthusiasts and families alike, offering top-quality facilities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Catering and food
Each day of the camp in Raleigh includes a lunch break from 11:45am to 12:30pm, giving children a well-deserved moment to rest after a busy morning on the pitch. This key break allows them to recharge in a relaxed atmosphere before resuming the afternoon’s activities.
Parents may prepare a balanced packed lunch for their child, but for added convenience, a meal option is available at the time of registration. If selected, meals will be provided on-site throughout the duration of the camp.
Designed with children’s natural rhythm in mind, the programme also includes regular breaks for hydration and snacks, which are provided by FC Barcelona. Special attention is given to each participant’s well-being, within a structured, supervised, and friendly environment that reflects the spirit of the Barça Academy.
Safety and security
From the moment they arrive at the Raleigh camp, participants are welcomed into a positive and reassuring environment, specially designed to support their development. Everything is in place to ensure that each girl feels heard, confident, and free to express her potential in a safe and encouraging setting.
Far more than just a football camp, this week represents a truly meaningful human experience. The game becomes a vehicle for building self-confidence, openness to others, and personal growth. Arrival
The first day of the Barça camp in Palo Alto is on Monday. Each day, the girls must arrive at the pitches by 08:00, with training starting at 08:10.
