A campus named after Bobby Moore, artificial grass pitches built for high-level performance: in the heart of East London, the West Ham United Foundation camp gives 9 to 17-year-olds a taste of life as a Hammer. Mixed camp of 1 or 2 weeks on a full-board or half-board basis – single-room accommodation at University College London, next to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Up to 19 hours of training per week at the West Ham United Foundation Foundry : technique, tactics, mental preparation and video analysis, led by UEFA PRO coaches from the West Ham United Academy. Personal evaluation and individual development plan. Free goalkeeper option. Optional English classes (8 hours, British Council accredited). Visit to the West Ham stadium. Location
The West Ham United Foundation football camp takes place in the heart of London. The sports facilities are located at the West Ham United Foundation Foundry in Beckton.
London is an incredible city that your children will have the chance to explore. It is the dynamic capital of the United Kingdom with globally renowned historical landmarks. From the London Eye to the Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, your children will be in the midst of a city filled with history that beats to the rhythm of football. It is the city with the most professional football clubs in the world, including West Ham United.
This city offers your children the perfect combination of tradition and modernity. It is a stimulating and inspiring environment that will allow your children to have an unforgettable football camp experience with one of the most iconic football teams in the capital.
Accommodation
The children will be staying at “University College of London” residence in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London. These are modern accommodations with a design inspired by London artists.
Your children will have individual rooms with all the necessary comforts. They will have storage, a desk, and free WIFI access in the residence.
They will have a private bus that will take them from the residence to the training fields.
The sporting Facilities
The West Ham football camps take place at the West Ham United Foundation Foundry, which is an excellent facility dedicated to high-level football practice. Located in East London, this impressive campus has state-of-the-art facilities that not only enhance the performance of the football player but also that of the athlete as a whole. It’s the new training center of the West Ham Academy.
Your children will train on the latest generation artificial grass football fields with stands.

Catering and food
The West Ham United football camp is available with full board and half board options. It is one of the few football camps in England that offers half board. You can drop off your children in the morning and pick them up in the evening. Lunch is included.
For children with full board, all meals are included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals will be taken directly at the residence for breakfast and dinner, while lunch will be provided at the West Ham United Foundation Campus.
If your child follows a specific diet or has allergies, please provide us with this information so that we can take it into account.
Safety and security
Safety is paramount in our football camps, and the safety of West Ham football camps is ensured with competent and professional coaches. Your children will never be alone and will always be accompanied by adults 24/7.
The West Ham United Academy welcomes children throughout the year in sports studies. Therefore, there is extensive experience in supervising children year-round, and this expertise is applied during the football camps.

Training
The West Ham United Foundation football camps offer your children an elite training experience, allowing them to live the life of a professional football player and reach their maximum potential. This involves a methodology implemented by the West Ham United Academy with up to 19 hours of football training covering various aspects: technical skills, tactical understanding, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development, and injury prevention.
The methodology of the West Ham United football camps focuses on the overall athlete’s progression with a high-level objective:
- Exercises on Individual Performance: Passing, dribbling, finishing, analysis of strengths and weaknesses, physical development, recovery sessions, mental preparation, nutrition conferences
- Teamwork Exercises: Tactics, positional play, offensive and defensive transitions, team setup
- Health and Strength Training: Muscle strengthening sessions, adapted meals, off-field work
- Technology: GPS
It is, therefore, a high-level program that awaits your child in the West Ham United football camps to progress in an environment and with coaches entirely focused on performance.
Coaches and coaching method
The director of the football camps is Sam Taylor, who had a professional football career of over 15 years and has spent 10 years as a coach. He has led the West Ham United Academy and the Player Development program. Therefore, he is well-acquainted with the demands of high-level football cer and the qualities necessary for success.
He has assembled a team of passionate and experienced coaches to ensure that your children progress and achieve their goals. All of them hold the highest football coaching qualifications: UEFA A or B, Level FA 3 or 4. They all work at the West Ham United Academy throughout the year and come to coach during the holiday camps. Hence, they have a perfect understanding of the West Ham United methodology to offer quality training sessions.
Staff and activities
During the West Ham United football camps, your children will be supervised by experienced coaches who are accustomed to working with young football players. Whether on the field or off the field, they will ensure the safety and well-being of all the children.
The coaches will organize activities every evening to strengthen team spirit and provide relaxation after intense training days. There will also be various excursions during the week, allowing the children to explore new things.
Trips and days out
The West Ham United football camps are very intense on the field, but there are also excursions to allow the children to take a break from football.
There is 1 stadium visit scheduled. The children will have the opportunity for a private tour with access to the locker rooms, press room, museum, and the edge of the field at the West Ham stadium
For children attending a 2-week camp, they will also have the chance to spend a full day in London to visit historical landmarks and enjoy some shopping to bring back a souvenir from this memorable camp.
Language Class
The West Ham United football camp offers the Football + English program as an option for your child to have English classes in addition to their football training. By choosing this program, your child will have 19 hours of football training and 8 hours of English classes per week.
The English classes are accredited by the British Council to ensure optimal teaching quality. All teachers are qualified and professionals. They are also passionate educators to ensure that children can have a fun and supportive learning experience. This option is perfect if you want your child to improve their English during school holidays while enjoying their favorite sport.
You should add this option during the registration process to ensure it is properly accounted for.

Arrival
Children in full board must arrive on Sundays between 2pm and 6pm. If you choose the airport transfer, your flight should arrive between 9am and 9pm.
For children on half board, they must come every day, from Monday to Friday, at 9.30am. Check-in also takes place on Sunday at the same time as the full board children.
Departure
The last day of the camp for children in full board is Saturday. Parents should pick up their children between 8.30am and 9.30am. If you have chosen the airport transfer, your child’s flight should be between 9am and 9pm.
For children on half board, parents should pick up their children at 6pm from Monday to Friday.
