West Ham United Club offers Elite soccer camps at the West Ham Foundation training center in the heart of London with a program and methodology derived from the international academy. West Ham United soccer camps are open to boys and girls aged 10 to 17 during the month of July.
The methodology has been developed by the professional team and covers all aspects of a soccer player: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological. This West Ham United soccer camp will take your child to a higher level and, above all, introduce them to the demands of English soccer. Coaches from the West Ham United academy will train your children during their camp for an optimal training experience.
There are 2 programs available with full board and half board:
- The Elite Soccer Camp for boys and girls aged 12 to 17: it’s a High-Performance camp for players who have been playing soccer for a few years and want a week or two of intensive training.
- The Development Soccer Camp for boys and girls aged 10 to 17: it’s a camp open to all levels for training and progressing for a week or two with experienced and professional coaches.
Your child can also choose the option of English courses, available in Elite and Development: your child will have the opportunity to have 12 hours of English classes in addition to soccer training to return with perfect English along with becoming a better soccer player.
For all programs, the Goalkeeper option is available. Your child will have 5 hours of specific training in small groups with professional goalkeeper coaches.

Location
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camp takes place in the heart of London. The sports facilities are located at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub in the Parsloes Park.
London is an incredible city that your children will have the chance to explore. It is the dynamic capital of the United Kingdom with globally renowned historical landmarks. From the London Eye to the Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, your children will be in the midst of a city filled with history that beats to the rhythm of soccer. It is the city with the most professional soccer clubs in the world, including West Ham United.
This city offers your children the perfect combination of tradition and modernity. It is a stimulating and inspiring environment that will allow your children to have an unforgettable soccer camp experience with one of the most iconic soccer teams in the capital.
Accommodation
The children will be staying at “The University of Art London” residence in the heart of Finsbury Park, located in North London. These are modern accommodations with a design inspired by London artists.
Your children will have individual rooms with all the necessary comforts. They will have storage, a desk, and free WIFI access in the residence.
They will have a private bus that will take them from the residence to the training fields.
The sporting Facilities
The West Ham soccer camps take place at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub, which is an excellent facility dedicated to high-level soccer practice. Located in Parsloes Park, East London, this impressive campus has state-of-the-art facilities that not only enhance the performance of the soccer player but also that of the athlete as a whole. This is the new training centre for West Ham’s youth teams.
Your children will train on the latest generation natural grass soccer fields with stands and an athletics track.
In addition to soccer, the campus offers a swimming pool, gymnasiums, basketball courts, tennis courts, HIT studios, and other high-level sports facilities. The West Ham United Foundation Campus embodies the spirit of the club by using the power of soccer to inspire, educate, and enrich local communities, making it an exceptional place for both sports and personal development.
Catering and food
The West Ham United soccer camp is available with full board and half board options. It is one of the few soccer camps in England that offers half board. You can drop off your children in the morning and pick them up in the evening. Lunch is included.
For children with full board, all meals are included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals will be taken directly at the residence for breakfast and dinner, while lunch will be provided at the West Ham United Foundation Campus.

Safety and security
Safety is paramount in our soccer camps, and the safety of West Ham soccer camps is ensured with competent and professional coaches. Your children will never be alone and will always be accompanied by adults 24/7.
The West Ham United Academy welcomes children throughout the year in sports studies. Therefore, there is extensive experience in supervising children year-round, and this expertise is applied during the soccer camps.

Training
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camps offer your children an elite training experience, allowing them to live the life of a professional soccer player and reach their maximum potential. This involves a methodology implemented by the West Ham United Academy with up to 19 hours of soccer training covering various aspects: technical skills, tactical understanding, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development, and injury prevention.
The methodology of the West Ham United soccer camps focuses on the overall athlete’s progression with a high-level objective:
- Exercises on Individual Performance: Passing, dribbling, finishing, analysis of strengths and weaknesses, physical development, recovery sessions, mental preparation, nutrition conferences
- Teamwork Exercises: Tactics, positional play, offensive and defensive transitions, team setup
- Health and Strength Training: Muscle strengthening sessions, adapted meals, off-field work
- Technology: Video analysis, GPS
- Specific Goalkeeper Exercises: It is possible to choose the Goalkeeper option to have small-group sessions with a specialized coach.
It is, therefore, a high-level program that awaits your child in the West Ham United soccer camps to progress in an environment and with coaches entirely focused on performance.
Coaches and coaching method
The director of the soccer camps is Sam Taylor, who had a professional soccer career of over 15 years and has spent 10 years as a coach. He has led the West Ham United Academy and the Player Development program. Therefore, he is well-acquainted with the demands of high-level soccer and the qualities necessary for success.
He has assembled a team of passionate and experienced coaches to ensure that your children progress and achieve their goals. All of them hold the highest soccer coaching qualifications: UEFA A or B, Level FA 3 or 4. They all work at the West Ham United Academy throughout the year and come to coach during the holiday camps. Hence, they have a perfect understanding of the West Ham United methodology to offer quality training sessions.
Staff and activities
During the West Ham United soccer camps, your children will be supervised by experienced coaches who are accustomed to working with young soccer players. Whether on the field or off the field, they will ensure the safety and well-being of all the children.
The coaches will organize activities every evening to strengthen team spirit and provide relaxation after intense training days. There will also be various excursions during the week, allowing the children to explore new things.
Trips and days out
The West Ham United soccer camps are very intense on the field, but there are also excursions to allow the children to take a break from soccer.
There are 2 stadium visits scheduled, alternating every other week. The children will have the opportunity for a private tour with access to the locker rooms, press room, museum, and the edge of the field at the following stadiums:
- Visit to the West Ham stadium
- Visit to Wembley Stadium
For children attending a 2-week camp, they will also have the chance to spend a full day in London to visit historical landmarks and enjoy some shopping to bring back a souvenir from this memorable camp.
Language Class
The West Ham United soccer camp offers the Soccer + English program as an option for your child to have English classes in addition to their soccer training. By choosing this program, your child will have 15 hours of soccer training and 12 hours of English classes per week.
The English classes are accredited by the British Council to ensure optimal teaching quality. All teachers are qualified and professionals. They are also passionate educators to ensure that children can have a fun and supportive learning experience. This option is perfect if you want your child to improve their English during school holidays while enjoying their favorite sport.
You should add this option during the registration process to ensure it is properly accounted for.

Arrival
Children in full board must arrive on Sundays between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If you choose the airport transfer, your flight should arrive between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
For children on half board, they must come every day, from Monday to Friday, at 9:30 AM. Check-in also takes place on Sunday at the same time as the full board children.

Departure
The last day of the camp for children in full board is Saturday. Parents should pick up their children between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. If you have chosen the airport transfer, your child’s flight should be between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
For children on half board, parents should pick up their children at 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday.
