In the heart of East London, the West Ham United Foundation camp gives boys and girls ages 10-17 a taste of daily life at a Premier League club, at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities.
Coed camp available as an overnight camp (1 or 2 weeks, Sunday to Friday) or as a day camp (5 days, Monday to Friday). Housing in rooms with a private bathroom at UCL (University College London), right next to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
19 hours of training per week: technique, tactics, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development and injury prevention, with the West Ham United Foundation coaches. Pro-Experience seminars, personal development plan and progress report. Optional English classes (8 hours per week, British Council accredited). West Ham United stadium tour. Evening activities every night for overnight campers. West Ham United Foundation training uniform provided.

Location
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camp takes place in East London. Training sessions are held at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities. London is an incredible city that your kids will have the chance to discover. It is the vibrant capital of the United Kingdom, home to world-famous historic landmarks. From the London Eye to Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, your kids will be in the heart of a city steeped in history that lives and breathes soccer. London is one of the cities with the most professional clubs in the world, including West Ham United. It offers your kids the perfect blend of tradition and modernity: a stimulating and inspiring environment for an unforgettable soccer camp with one of the capital’s most iconic clubs.
Accommodation
Overnight campers stay at the UCL (University College London) residence, in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London. The housing is modern, with a design inspired by London artists. Your kids stay in rooms with a private bathroom and everything they need: storage, a desk and free, supervised internet access. A private bus takes them from the residence to the training fields every day.
The sporting Facilities
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camps take place at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities in East London. These state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to high-level soccer and develop both the soccer player and the all-around athlete. Your kids train on state-of-the-art artificial turf fields. The West Ham United Foundation embodies the spirit of the club by using the power of soccer to inspire, educate and enrich local communities, making it an exceptional place for athletic and personal development.
Catering and food
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camp is available as an overnight camp or as a day camp. It is one of the only soccer camps in England to offer a day camp option: you drop your child off in the morning and pick them up at the end of the day. Lunch is included. For overnight campers, all meals are included: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner are served at the residence, and lunch at the training center. If your child follows a specific diet or has allergies, please let us know so that we can accommodate them.
Safety and security
Safety is our top priority at our soccer camps, and at the West Ham United Foundation camps it is ensured by skilled, professional coaches. Your kids are never alone and are supervised by adults 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The West Ham United Foundation welcomes international players year-round at its Academy of Football: this extensive experience in working with young people is put to good use during the camps. Medical insurance is included for all participants.

Training
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camps offer your kids an Elite Pro-Experience program to experience the daily life of a professional soccer player and reach their full potential. The high-performance program includes 19 hours of soccer training per week, spread over 5 days, covering technique, tactics, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development and injury prevention.
The methodology focuses on each player’s all-around progress, with a high-performance goal:
- Individual performance: technique, analysis of strengths and weaknesses, personal development plan
- Team play: tactics, team preparation and game situations
- Pro-Experience seminars: player scouting, nutrition, strength and conditioning and other specialized areas, led by West Ham United Foundation staff
- Technology: video analysis and the latest training techniques
The camp is designed for players who already play at a good level and want to take their game to the next level, in a professional club environment with coaches fully focused on performance. Participants are selected based on their ability. Goalkeepers can opt for specialized training adapted to their level.
Coaches and coaching method
The soccer camp director is Sam Taylor, who had a professional playing career of more than 15 years and has 10 years of coaching experience. He has led the West Ham United Academy as well as the Player Development program. He knows exactly what elite soccer demands and the qualities needed to succeed. He has built a team of passionate, experienced coaches to help your kids improve and reach their goals. They all hold some of the highest coaching licenses: UEFA A or B, FA Level 3 or 4. They are part of the West Ham United Foundation team and have a thorough command of its methodology, delivering high-quality training sessions. During the camp, a professional coach from West Ham United also visits to share their expertise and knowledge of professional soccer.
Staff and activities
During the West Ham United Foundation soccer camps, your kids are supervised by experienced coaches who are used to working with young soccer players. On and off the field, they look after the safety and well-being of every child. For overnight campers, activities are organized every evening to build team spirit and unwind after intense days of training. Excursions are also planned to discover the club and the city of London.
Trips and days out
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camps are intense on the field, but excursions also give the kids a break from soccer:
- West Ham United stadium tour: a half-day visit to discover the club’s stadium, included in all camps
- Day in London: for 2-week camps, a full day to discover the capital’s landmarks
- Shopping and go-karting: for 2-week camps, a half-day during the second week
Language Class
The West Ham United Foundation soccer camp offers the optional Soccer + English program: your child takes English classes in addition to their training. With this option, they have 19 hours of soccer training and 8 hours of English classes per week. The classes are accredited by the British Council, guaranteeing high-quality teaching. Students take a placement test on arrival and are placed in classes of no more than 15 students at a similar level. Classes use a fun, interactive approach focused on speaking skills in a soccer context. All teachers are qualified and experienced. This option is ideal for improving English during summer vacation while playing their favorite sport. It must be added at registration.

Arrival
Overnight campers arrive at the residence on Sunday between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
If you choose the airport or train station transfer, your child is picked up at their arrival time. A surcharge applies for arrivals before 9:00 am or after 9:00 pm. Flight details must be sent to us at least 20 days before arrival. For day campers, check-in takes place on Monday at 8:30 am. Kids then arrive every day at 8:30 am, from Tuesday to Friday.
Departure
The last day of camp for overnight campers is Friday. The exact departure time will be confirmed before the camp. If you have chosen the airport or train station transfer, your child is dropped off in time for their departure. A surcharge applies for departures before 9:00 am or after 9:00 pm. For day campers, parents pick up their kids at 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
