Scottish mists lifting over six natural grass fields, Ibrox Stadium a dream away: the Rangers FC camp welcomes 10 to 15 year olds to the Sport Scotland National Center Inverclyde in Largs for six days of full-board immersion in Rangers FC’s methodology. Mixed camp – modern double-room accommodation on campus, all meals included.
24 hours of training per week: technique, tactics, position-specific coaching and a daily soccer workshop. Coaches recruited and trained by the Rangers FC Academy. Indoor synthetic field to guarantee sessions in all weather. 860 m² fitness suite. Goalkeeper option available. Two Rangers FC training kits and end-of-camp certificate. Location
This camp is held at Sport Training Centre Inverclyde, Largs, North Ayrshire.
Largs is a very famous Scottish seaside resort as it is only 53km from Glasgow. It boasts a popular pier and historical references to the Vikings. It is the venue for an annual Viking Festival every September.
After a short drive, you will arrive in Glasgow. This port city was built on trade and shipbuilding. It is a city full of history with incredible architecture and a highly developed cultural activity. It is home to some of the world’s greatest opera houses and ballets. It is the second largest city in Scotland and the home of Glasgow Rangers, Scotland’s most iconic club.
Accommodation
The residence is located in the heart of the Sport Training Centre, so your children are right next to the soccer pitches for training. There are 60 modern double bedrooms with private bathrooms. They are also all equipped with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
There are two single beds and not a double bed to facilitate the rest and recovery of the athlete.
There are also common rooms to meet, watch TV, engage in various activities, but also to rest.
The sporting Facilities
Sport Center Scotland Inverclyde is a state-of-the-art training facility. It features several grass pitches, a 3rd generation synthetic outdoor pitch and a 3rd generation synthetic indoor pitch. This ensures that the camp can be held and maintained regardless of the weather.
The campus also includes an 860m² (9250 sq ft) fitness room with a performance area, meeting and video rooms and an indoor multi-sports court for basketball, volleyball, table tennis and badminton.
This is a fully performance-focused campus that offers the best for your child’s progress. The ideal place for a soccer camp during the school holidays.
Catering and food
The catering hall is also within the campus: this is where children will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Understanding that nutrition is an essential component of an athlete’s success, Rangers FC camps offer balanced menus with fresh produce to the children. Everything is prepared on site under the supervision of Elior UK, the UK’s leading sports nutrition company.
We can also arrange performance menus to suit the athlete’s requirements.

Safety and security
Everything takes place within the campus: training, catering, accommodation, and activities. This ensures that the children are safe 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The campus is secure as only authorised people can enter.
Each child will be given a wristband allowing them to enter their room and the common rooms. This ensures that no one else can – except their roommate. The wristband is very light and can be worn throughout the stay.
The safety of the children is our priority and be assured that this campus meets all requirements.

Training
Rangers FC coaches have designed the training programme in conjunction with the Rangers FC Academy, the Rangers FC training centre. It is a comprehensive programme called Elite that will challenge the players and help them improve quickly.
The methodology is based on a combination of high intensity, technical and physical training, understanding the game and gaining confidence on the pitch. This is exactly what is instilled in the youngsters of the training centre, as well as the players of the professional team. They will also follow physical conditioning courses to better understand the human body and how to develop it in an optimal way as a footballer. To work in good conditions and have time to progress, the children will have 2 sessions per day.
The programme also includes sessions in the weight room to improve specific aspects of each child.
This is a very complete programme offered by FC Rangers which will help your child progress in all aspects and allow them to experience what professional soccer players experience.
Coaches and coaching method
All Rangers FC soccer coaches are recruited and trained by the Rangers FC Academy. They all have significant experience in youth coaching, and all receive the same training to ensure that the methodology is passed on to the children in the same way. The coaches must also pass on the values of the club to the children.
The coaches will look after the well-being of the players and will make sure that their stay is unforgettable.
Staff and activities
From the moment the children wake up to the moment they go to sleep, the Rangers FC staff will make sure that every child has fun on and off the field. The coaches are more than just coaches and are available to the children at all times of the day.
Off the pitch, they will be present to prepare and do other activities with them, and above all ensure their well-being.

Arrival
The arrival of the children is on Monday between 9:00 am and 10:30 am at the Sport Centre Inverclyde.
It is important to arrive on time as there is an opening ceremony and a tour of the centre starting at 10:30 am.
Departure
The departure from the Inverclyde centre is on Saturday from 5:30 pm and just after the closing ceremony which takes place at 4:30 pm.
If the child is to be met by someone other than the parents, please let us know in advance.
