Location

The sporting Facilities
Pleasant Park is a 92-acre recreational and sports complex that opened in November 2023. This modern facility includes six floodlit synthetic turf fields for soccer, lacrosse, cricket, and ultimate frisbee.
It also features tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, a 5K cross-country course, and the “Enchanted Forest” playground — a 1.5-acre themed play area inspired by fairy tales, inclusive and designed for all ages and abilities.
For added convenience, the park includes two shelters with restrooms, a main building with offices, meeting rooms, a food area, and locker rooms. “Splashlantis,” a new splash pad, was opened in May 2024.
Pleasant Park is an ideal space for sports and families, offering premium facilities in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
Catering and food
Each camp day includes a lunch break from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM, giving kids time to relax after a busy morning on the field. It’s the perfect opportunity to recharge in a calm setting before diving into afternoon activities.
Parents may pack a healthy lunch for their child, or opt for the meal plan during registration. If selected, meals will be provided on-site for the entire week.
The program is paced to respect each player’s rhythm and includes scheduled breaks for water and snacks, which are provided by FC Barcelona. Special care is taken to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and valued—true to the spirit of the Barça Academy.
Safety and security
From the moment players arrive at the Raleigh camp, they are welcomed into a positive and encouraging environment. Everything is designed to help each girl feel safe, heard, and free to express her potential in a secure and empowering space.
This camp is more than a week of soccer — it’s a human experience where the game becomes a tool for building self-esteem, friendships, and character. Sessions are led by FC Barcelona-certified coaches trained to support young girls with both care and high standards.

Training
At FC Barcelona, soccer is much more than a sport: it’s a tool for transmission, growth and learning. The soccer camp in Raleigh embodies this philosophy. For a full week, the participants evolve in a structured and caring environment, where each training session is designed to strengthen their technique, game intelligence and mental strength.
Under the guidance of coaches certified by the Catalan club, they learn to progress at their own pace, while respecting the values of Barça: respect, humility, team spirit and enjoyment of the game. The coaches provide attentive follow-up, adapted to each player’s personality and level.
This camp is not just about perfecting your ball skills. It’s a rich, inspiring and memorable experience, where young players gain confidence, autonomy and a sense of team spirit – just as club legends such as Messi, Xavi and Iniesta have done before them.

At FC Barcelona, soccer is a vehicle for education and growth. The Raleigh camp reflects that mission: each day is designed to help participants grow through the game—learning to collaborate, push themselves, take initiative, and embody Barça’s values of respect, solidarity, and humility, on and off the pitch.
Led by certified Barça coaches, players receive close, personalised support. These coaches, both educators and mentors, help each girl progress at her own rhythm.

Arrival
The first day of the Barça camp in Palo Alto is Monday. Each day, players should arrive by 8:00 AM, with training beginning at 8:10 AM.
