The sporting Facilities
The Matthews Sportsplex, located just minutes from Charlotte, is one of the largest and most modern sports complexes in North Carolina. It includes 11 soccer fields made of both natural and synthetic turf, including a main stadium with bleachers—perfect for hosting high-level competitions and camps. The facilities are spacious, well-maintained, and secure, with modern locker rooms, rest areas, and an organisation designed to provide an optimal experience for both players and families.
This site is regularly selected for major sporting events due to its professional setting and high-quality infrastructure. The Matthews Sportsplex is the perfect location to host an FC Barcelona soccer camp, providing ideal conditions for progress and an unforgettable week of soccer!
Catering and food
Each day, a lunch break is scheduled between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It’s important to pack a full, nutritious meal for your child, along with a water bottle or thermos to help them stay properly hydrated throughout the day.
No need to worry: the children’s comfort is a top priority. During training sessions, regular breaks are built in so they can rest, rehydrate, and enjoy a snack provided by FC Barcelona.
The goal is simple: to allow young players to perform at their best on the field while respecting their pace, wellbeing, and energy—making this week both intense and enjoyable.
