The sporting Facilities
The University School of Milwaukee (USM) boasts top-tier sports facilities on its campus, offering an ideal environment for the athletic development of young people. Notable infrastructures include the Jim Laing Tennis Center, featuring eight courts and a spectator area, as well as the Polly and Henry Uihlein Ice Arena, which houses modern locker rooms, coaches’ offices, and a training room.
The campus also includes several gymnasiums, a fitness centre, a football pitch with a renovated athletics track, baseball and softball fields, as well as facilities for field hockey and lacrosse. These amenities support a comprehensive athletic programme, offering 26 varsity-level sports and 13 at the middle school level, with an inclusive policy ensuring opportunities for all students. USM’s commitment to sporting excellence is highlighted by its 71 state championships won since 2000, reflecting a culture of discipline, teamwork, and leadership
Catering and food
Each camp day includes a lunch break, scheduled between 11:45 am and 12:30 pm, allowing children to recharge in a calm moment away from the intensity of the pitch. It is strongly recommended to prepare a nourishing meal along with a water bottle or flask to help them stay well hydrated throughout the day.
The structure of the camp has been carefully designed to respect the natural rhythm of the children. At regular intervals, breaks are scheduled so they can rest, cool down, and enjoy a snack provided by FC Barcelona. Beyond sporting performance, the camp is committed to creating a balanced and caring environment, where effort goes hand in hand with enjoyment, and the well-being of each player is a top priority
