Location
Denver, the capital of Colorado, is a vibrant city located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, combining nature, modernity, and quality of life. Nicknamed the “Mile High City” for its altitude of around 1,600 metres, it attracts with its sunny climate, wide open spaces, and sporty atmosphere.
The city is well known for its outdoor culture: hiking, cycling, skiing nearby… everything is made for lovers of nature and adventure. But Denver is also home to a lively arts and music scene, museums, trendy neighbourhoods like RiNo, and a strong passion for professional sports with its iconic teams (Nuggets, Broncos, Avalanche…).
It is in this setting, between city and mountains, that FC Barcelona is hosting its football camp — offering an inspiring, healthy, and stimulating environment for young footballers seeking a truly unique experience.
The sporting Facilities
Aurora Sports Park, located in Aurora, Colorado, is a leading sports complex covering 220 acres. It features 23 natural grass football pitches and 4 floodlit synthetic pitches, suitable for high-level training and competition. The park also includes 12 baseball/softball fields, 4 playgrounds, 7 picnic shelters, and multiple restroom facilities, providing a comprehensive environment for both athletes and families. With its modern, well-maintained facilities, Aurora Sports Park is an ideal venue for hosting football camps, tournaments, and major sporting events.
Catering and food
Each day, lunch break will take place between 11:45am and 12:30pm. We recommend preparing a balanced meal for your child, along with a bottle of water to ensure they stay well hydrated throughout the day.
Rest assured, the camp schedule is designed to respect the needs of the children. Regular breaks are planned throughout the training sessions, allowing young players to rest, rehydrate, and enjoy a snack provided by FC Barcelona.
The goal is simple: to offer a week that combines sporting intensity with comfort, so that every participant can fully enjoy their experience – safely and with a smile.
