Location
Entroncamento is a town unlike any other in Portugal. Founded in the mid-19th century at the junction of the country’s major railway lines, it owes its name—and its spirit—to the railways. A historic crossroads between the Northern and Eastern lines, it has seen generations of travelers, politicians, and writers pass through, stopping here before continuing on their way.
Today, this town in the Santarém region has retained this spirit of transit and openness, while developing its own sports and cultural infrastructure. Well-connected and accessible from Lisbon in less than an hour, it is an ideal base for a sports camp: quiet enough to focus, yet well-connected so families can easily visit their children.

The sporting Facilities
The camp takes place at the local sports facilities in Entroncamento, in a functional and secure setting designed to accommodate young athletes. The facilities allow for simultaneous activities across different age groups, with dedicated fields for technical drills, warm-ups, and matches.

Training
In Entroncamento, the program is built around a simple principle: each day has a theme, and every theme is explored in depth. Mornings are devoted to technical drills—divided into three progressive sessions punctuated by hydration breaks. In the afternoon, it’s time for matches and tournaments, where the concepts learned in the morning come to life in real-game situations.
For participants on a half-board plan, the day continues with multi-sport activities led by instructors between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM — a way to unwind while staying active.
Groups are formed by skill level and age starting on the first day and may change during the week. What remains constant: the high standards, the progress, and the joy of playing in the colors of Real Madrid.
Coaches and coaching method
In Entroncamento, as in every city where the Real Madrid Foundation sets up shop, the coaches aren’t there by chance. Appointed directly by the Foundation and holding UEFA licenses, they work year-round at the heart of the Madrid-based programs—and bring with them a proven, precise method tailored to each player’s profile.
On the field, the attention given to each player is genuine: with one supervisor for every 12 to 14 players, supported by local coaches, every child receives concrete feedback, immediate corrections, and daily encouragement. In the residential program, this support extends beyond the field—coaches and staff remain present to supervise group activities with the same dedication.
