The city of Madrid :
During their stay, the campers will be hosted at the Erasmo Residence of Madrid Autonomous University. It is located about 20 kilometers from the center of Madrid to the north.
Madrid, Spain’s capital, is a city bursting with life and culture. There are countless things to do in many different domains. If you love art, the world-famous Prado Museum will be perfect for you. The permanent collection spans many different styles and eras, with highlights including Velasquez and Goya.
A unique attraction, the Puerta del Sol is probably the single most famous spot in the city. It is the point where all six of Spain’s major roads start and it is a symbolic ‘kilometre 0’. Try and find the plaque which marks the exact beginning of all the roads!
Other worthy mentions to visit are the various quality restaurants, including the oldest restaurant in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the many parks, and even the biggest Zara in the world. There is always plenty to do in this beautiful town.
Accommodation
- Real Madrid Experience and Soccer + English lesson program :
The rooms at the Erasmo Residence have 2 single beds, so the rooms are usually shared. They all have a bathroom and air conditioning.
The common rooms and areas are large and allow the campers to have lots of fun when the staff organize games and group activities, often on the spot. Wi-Fi is available and there are televisions, computers, a gym, and a laundry room on-site as well.
- Real Madrid Max and 100% Girls
Location: European University of Madrid
Rooms at the “Villaviciosa de Odòn” Campus are single rooms, unlike the “Experience” camp where they are double rooms. All have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and WiFi.
Communal rooms and areas are spacious and allow campers to enjoy themselves when staff organize games and group activities.
The sporting Facilities
- Real Madrid Experience and Soccer + English lesson program :
The training sessions take place in the same place as the professional Real Madrid team training sessions, in the training center where all the Real Madrid players gather to practice in Valdebedas. It is a professional setting with very high-quality infrastructure, and it is the biggest training center in the world.
There are very 5 artificial turf fields as well as 5 natural grass fields. The artificial turfs are the latest in synthetic pitch technology and are perfect for practicing technique particularly, with very few bad bounces or any other hindrances.
There is also a hyper-modern medical center, over fifteen dressing rooms, a warmup room, and even a cafeteria. The center has everything the players could possibly need.
- Real Madrid Max and 100% Girls
Training sessions can be held in two different locations:
- On the grounds of the Villaviciosa de Odón campus
- At the Real Madrid training center in Valdebebas.
The grounds of the Villaviciosa de Odón campus are located on the same site as the Residence and are therefore within easy walking distance. There is an artificial turf pitch and a natural turf pitch which will be totally dedicated to the children for this intensive soccer camp. Other sports can be practiced on the campus with tennis courts or sports halls.
At least one training session a week will be held at Valdebebas, the Real Madrid campus 30 minutes away by bus. Transport will of course be organized and is included.
Catering and food
The catering is in the same place for the athletes in the centre and it is self-service.
Your child will receive breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner if they are a full-boarder. FOr half-boarders, snacks and lunch are included.
Allergies and specific dietary requirements can be catered for and will be asked of all participants before the beginning of the camp.
The dining room is brand new and the chefs work hard every day to provide healthy and balanced meals so as to make sure that the campers get all the nutrition they need to keep playing soccer and to make their recovery every night as easy as possible.
Safety and security
The residence is in a secure enclosure which is used to hosting students during the year.
The campers will go to the training center by bus and the staff members will be with the kids 24 hours a day to guarantee their safety.

Training
In this camp the children will benefit from 24 hours of training during the week. On average 4 hours per day with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Methodology :
After an evaluation of the levels in order to make groups, the coaches start the day with a theoretical class. The theoretical classes cover topics on high level sport.
Two trainings are scheduled every day, at 10:30 am and 5:15 pm, always followed by a snack to regain strength, and a shower.
The methodology of this soccer camp is unique and has been worked on for many years to guarantee excellence, at the level of Real Madrid.
During this camp, the level expected is improvement, the players can be beginners, or players for several years.
Theoretical courses and training :
Every day theoretical classes will be given to the children to work on tactical aspects but also to educate the children about the good habits of an athlete’s life: how to stretch properly? What to eat? etc… To be a high level athlete, all aspects of performance must be addressed.
At 10.30 the children will have their first training session of the day in order to apply what they have learned in theory the hour before. This session will last 2 hours.
After lunch, the children can go to the pool to have fun in the water and there will be entertaining and relaxing activities.
At 17:15 the second training of the day will take place, which is usually in the form of matches to put into practice what was learned in the morning in theory and during the first training.
After one hour of training the children will go for a shower and a snack before the staff organise another fun activity.
At around 8pm the children will have free time to call their parents before going to dinner.
Goalkeeper option :
Goalkeepers are not forgotten at the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience. It is of course cultural since it is here that one of the world’s greatest goalkeepers was trained: Iker Casillas.
The goalkeeper option is free of charge and allows boys and girls who wish to have specific training for this very special position with dedicated coaches.
This specific goalkeeper option is valid from 02 to 29 July 2023. Outside of these dates, the children will obviously play in their goalkeeper position but will not have any specific goalkeeper training.
You can select the option at the time of booking or indicate it in the registration form.
Coaches and coaching method
The employees who work each year in the Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience soccer camps have been selected based on their experience in teaching, education, leisure and sports. Every year they are trained to the rigorous standards of Real Madrid, so they are perfectly able to provide quality training for the children and also good living conditions.
The coaches are all certified by Real Madrid.
Staff and activities
Several times a day, “Campus Experience” activities are on the program. These take the form of fun and interactive games between boys and girls that allow them to create bonds and friendships while learning important life values: respect, discipline and teamwork for example.
These activities will take the shape of games created by the activity leaders or other sports such as table tennis or basketball. Finally, depending on the temperature and the program, the children can go to the swimming pool to cool off.
Trips and days out
During the week, children will have the opportunity to visit the legendary Santiago Bernabeu stadium. From the changing rooms to the passageways and the edge of the field, this stadium impresses young and old fans alike. After the visit, the campers will go to the museum to admire the many titles of Real Madrid and especially all the cups of the most prestigious European competition, the Champions League.
A tour of the city is also on the program for children to discover the main squares and avenues of the capital. This is an opportunity for girls and boys to disconnect from soccer, have fun and make friends.
Language Class
If you choose the Real Madrid Football + English program, your child will have up to 7 hours of English lessons in addition to football training. It’s the perfect opportunity to help your child improve not only his football skills, but also his English.
English lessons are given by professional, qualified teachers. These are teachers who give courses all year round at school or university. Your child will have 1h30 of English lessons every morning. It’s a footballing experience immersed in the English language.
What’s more, Real Madrid camps are international. Learning will be continuous during the course, as there will be children from all over the world, and your child will have to speak English.

Below is an example of a typical day. The program can be adapted according to the weather and the organization of the excursions.

A QUESTION ABOUT THIS CAMP?
What is a typical day like at the camp?
The daily schedule may vary depending on the type of program (residential or day camp), but participants typically follow this routine:
The morning begins with training. After each training session, following basic hygiene rules, the children will take a shower and change into fresh clothes, after which they have a light snack.
Following training, football theory classes are conducted (information that every athlete should know, such as proper stretching or adequate nutrition).
Campus Experience activity takes place after football theory. This is a time for interaction, making friends through games, while learning equally important values in sports and daily life: respect, hard work, self-control, and teamwork. The supervisors, who work for Campus Experience each year, are selected based on their experience in teaching, education, leisure, and sports. They also receive specific and comprehensive training from the organization every year. They have the experience and skills necessary to allow participants to have fun while learning.
Lunchtime is followed by a pool session.
In the early evening, they return to training, followed by showers and a snack.
Day camp participants finish their day at this stage (around 7 PM). Those staying overnight, however, will have dinner and enjoy another activity.
What are the Campus Experience activities?
There are 3 Campus Experience activities:
“Feel Experience”: In this activity, all participants engage in a large game where they experience and live out the value of the day. For example, on a “teamwork” day, they participate in various team-building games where they can only win by completing a series of challenges that demonstrate how united the team is. On a “self-control” day, participants play “One to Win,” where they must demonstrate their ability to stay calm under pressure in practical activities.
“Fun Experience”: This activity occurs at more relaxed moments, such as before or after lunch. The aim is to allow participants to have fun by playing short games offered in new spaces, like the pool. Each participant can choose their game, like footvolley, kickball, or other games unrelated to football.
“Team Experience”: This activity is intended to remind participants of everything they have worked on during the day. Through exercises and games, each supervisor will sit with their group’s participants to discuss the value of the day and connect it to their experiences, giving them time to express themselves, share how they feel at camp, and share their experiences.
How many children are there per group?
Each group will not have more than 20 children.
Each group will have their own coach, a monitor, and an assistant monitor.
Coaches will be responsible for the sports training on the campus, while monitors will handle daily life and leisure activities
What are the documents to be provided for the registration ?
In addition to the completed registration form, you will need to provide us with:
Photo
Regulation form for the corresponding year, signed by the legal guardian indicated on the registration form and by the participant.
Insurance (one of the three options):
Health card (for Spanish participants)
European Health Insurance Card (for European participants)
Private health insurance or travel insurance. A complete copy of the insurance policy (including the participant’s medical insurance card) indicating medical coverage in Spain, Europe, or worldwide is required, with the participant’s name included in the insurance confirmation and the coverage period during the camp.
Family book (parent/child page) or birth certificate
ID card or passport of the legal guardian indicated on the registration form.
The guardian of each participant will always be the mother or father, never the person who will bring the participant or live with them during the camp. The name of the accompanying person, if not the legal guardian, can be indicated in the file.
Documents must be provided in Spanish or English. In case the document is not available in either of these languages, the official document should be accompanied by a full translation (an official translation is not required).
The presentation of this documentation before the start of the camp is mandatory. In case of non-presentation, the participant may not be allowed to access the camp and will not be entitled to any refund.
In exceptional cases or situations, additional documents may be required.
Do I need to provide a medical certificate?
No, unless the participant has allergies and/or other health issues requiring specific care. In this case, you will need to send us a medical certificate indicating the issue and how it should be treated.
My child has a significant health issue, can I enroll them in the camp?
it shouldn’t be a major issue, as long as the doctor approves it. The health, well-being, and safety of our participants are our top priorities, so we need to ensure there’s no risk to any of them and that our supervisors and coaches can provide appropriate care for your child.
In this condition, we will ask you to provide us with a medical certificate issued by your child’s doctor, stating that their health condition allows them to participate in football and all the activities and conditions of the camp. Additionally, it should include a comprehensive description of any medical condition they may have and how it should be treated, if necessary, and any specific care they require.
Our team will review this certificate to determine if your child can participate in the camp without any risks. If it is determined that they can, we will advise you to proceed with the reservation.
Do I need to mention who will pick up my child during the camp?
Yes, you should mention it. When registering your child for the camp, you will need to provide the full name and ID card number (or passport) of the person who will pick them up (the legal guardian). Supervisors always request identification from the person picking up your child, and if you don’t have identification with you, we won’t be able to authorize the child’s release.
Can I request a visa letter for this camp?
Campus Experience can provide an invitation letter to participants who require one (no invitation letters will be issued in the name of an adult). To do so, it is necessary for the participant to have completed their registration, made full payment, and for all their documentation to be in order.
Can a player leave the camp before it ends?
In duly proven cases of force majeure, participants may leave the camp prematurely. If this occurs, the participant’s guardian must request it in writing (via email) and follow the established procedure. For the safety of the children, this procedure is taken VERY SERIOUSLY and must be correctly completed.
What language is used for communication during the camp?
The official language of communication is Spanish, although most of the staff can communicate with participants in English without any difficulty. Supervisors and the organizing staff will make an effort to engage all children, regardless of their language.
Every year, children who do not speak Spanish or English participate, but sports is a universal language, so they end up communicating without any issues.
Can I be in the same group as a friend?
Yes, it is possible as long as both participants are attending the same camp and are roughly at the same skill level. You should indicate your preference for this on your registration form in the ‘preferred group’ section. While we always strive to accommodate this request and can do so in most cases, we cannot guarantee it.
How are the room assignments made ?
Rooms typically accommodate 2 players. They will be assigned to the room with players from the same group and roughly the same level.
Is the campus secured at night?
The campus has 24-hour surveillance and security.
Does the camp offer halal or kosher menus?
The camp offers menus for individuals with celiac disease, vegetarian menus, lactose-free menus, and pork-free menus, but we do not have halal or kosher menus.
If your child has specific dietary restrictions, you can inform us in the allergy section, and these restricted foods will not be served to them. However, it’s important to note that bringing food prepared from outside the camp facilities will not be allowed under any circumstances.
My child is very particular about meals. Can they bring their own food?
Unfortunately, due to the large number of children with allergies and various dietary intolerances who will be living together on the campus, it will not be allowed to bring food prepared outside the campus facilities under any circumstances
How can I stay in touch with my child?
A specific time slot is allocated every day to allow children to talk to their families (usually before dinner, from 8:15 PM to 9:15 PM).
Children will be able to make calls from their mobile phones or receive calls on a provided number. The facilities also have WiFi, allowing them to connect online and contact their parents if they wish.
We will provide the necessary information as the camp start date approaches.
Can I attend my child’s training sessions?
For security reasons, no parent or visitor is allowed to enter the sports facilities or accommodations. Parents will not be allowed to attend training or other activities on the campus.
Will my child meet professional Real Madrid players during the camp?
It is possible that professional players from Real Madrid may visit Campus Experience from time to time, and it has indeed happened in the past. However, we cannot guarantee it at all times. Campus Experience does not have access to the players’ schedules, and we cannot predict when they might want to visit the camp.
Will there be photos taken of my child during the camp?
The photographers will take photos of daily life at the camp, capturing various activities and training sessions at their discretion. Unfortunately, not all children and groups will be featured in this type of photo journal. Whether they appear in the photos or not is a matter of luck because the goal is to showcase daily life without highlighting specific individuals.
Parents will receive these photos once the camp is concluded. Personalized photos are reserved for the diploma that each child will receive at the end of the camp. These photos are portraits, and each child will have two individual photos and one group photo (they receive the diploma on the last day of camp). Children participating in a 2-week program will receive two diplomas, one for each completed week.
What should I pack in my suitcase for half board?
Children in half board should come every day wearing a T-shirt, shorts, a cap, and sneakers. They should also have a backpack containing:
Sports T-shirt
Sports shorts
Swimming trunks/suit
Towel
Swim cap
Swimming armbands if you have informed us that they cannot swim
Flip-flops
Sunscreen
Soccer socks
Shin guards (if they have them)
All clothing should be labeled with the owner’s name to prevent loss or mix-up.
It’s important for children to learn the value of hygiene for the well-being of those around them. Parents and educators play a key role in instilling such habits.
What should I pack for my full board stay?
Here’s a typical packing list for a one-week full board program:
Sneakers
Soccer shoes (we recommend that they are already broken in to avoid blisters and chafing; for safety, we recommend molded cleats as most of the soccer fields used are synthetic turf)
5 pairs of sports shorts
10 T-shirts
8 pairs of socks
Cap
Swimming trunks/suit
Swim cap
Swimming armbands if you have informed us that they cannot swim
Flip-flops
Beach towel
Sunscreen
Lip balm with SPF
Insect repellent
Soccer socks
Shin guards (if they have them)
Medications if they need to follow a specific treatment
All clothing should be labeled with their name to prevent loss or mix-up.
It’s important for children to learn the value of hygiene for the well-being of those around them. Parents and educators play a key role in instilling such habits.
Do I need to give pocket money to my child?
The program is all-inclusive. However, there will be occasions when participants may use money, for example, to buy souvenirs during the visit to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, during excursions in Madrid, etc.
So, you can give him pocket money, which will be under his sole responsibility.
Is a laundry service available?
There is NO laundry service provided on one-week programs, whether it’s full board or half board.
The laundry service will be available for the two-week full board program and will take place over the weekend between the two weeks. The monitors will collect the participants’ clothes and take them to the laundry, where they will be washed and returned to the participants once ready.
If my child loses an item or piece of clothing during the camp, what should I do?
If a participant loses an item during the camp, they should inform their monitor who will contact the camp coordinator to search for it. In the event that they realize an item is missing at the end of the camp, they can contact our customer service. We will ask you to describe the item, and if it is found, we will contact the legal guardians. The remaining unclaimed items will be taken to the office, where they will be cataloged, and the owners of named lost items will be contacted to retrieve them at the end of the season. Campus Experience will not send found items, and you will need to arrange for a courier service to pick up the item.
What does the training kit in the ‘welcome pack’ include?
The training kit in the welcome pack includes a T-shirt, shorts, and socks
