The training methods of Spain’s top clubs are making their way to the capital of Mexican soccer. LaLiga’s training camps are setting up shop in Guadalajara with a session open to young players aged 7 to 15. Each pitch has been carefully selected by LaLiga’s Technical Director: state-of-the-art artificial surfaces, designed to ensure optimal conditions throughout the week.
At the heart of the programme: four hours of training per day led by UEFA Pro-certified coaches, who share the same playing philosophy as the Spanish top-flight academies. Individual technique, collective tactical organisation, physical conditioning – each session covers all the key aspects of a young footballer’s development. Parents are invited to sit by the pitch to watch their child’s progress in real time.
The highlight of the week: the most promising players are identified by the coaching staff and receive an invitation to an elite training camp in Spain. On the agenda: high-performance sessions, matches against the official LaLiga academy in Madrid, tickets to a professional match in the Spanish capital and an exclusive tour of a major stadium. A full PUMA LaLiga kit (shirt + shorts) is given to each participant.

Training
In Guadalajara, LaLiga camps transport your children into the world of Spain’s top academies. For a full week, every child follows the same training programme as the professional clubs in LaLiga. It is an ambitious programme built around four key commitments:
- Unique: the coaching staff consists entirely of UEFA Pro-licensed coaches, the highest level of certification in world soccer.
- Grounded in reality: no improvised drills; all training content is developed and supervised by LaLiga experts.
- Comprehensive: every aspect of development is covered: ball skills, heading, physical conditioning and tactical awareness. Technique, mentality, fitness, tactics: nothing is left out.
- Experienced from the inside: the programme is designed so that the five days resemble a real week in the professional game, with all the demands, pace and mindset that go with it.
And because competition is part of the DNA of top-level sport, internal challenges and tournaments punctuate the week. A way to test oneself, push one’s limits and leave with concrete benchmarks of one’s own progress.
Coaches and coaching method
From the first day to the last, every child trains in a professional environment directly supervised by LaLiga’s Technical Director, who is present throughout all sessions. The coach-to-player ratio is deliberately kept at one UEFA Pro-certified coach for every 15 participants. This is a conscious choice to ensure genuine attention is given to each player, rather than mass training. Behind these coaches lie exceptional backgrounds: former professionals who have transitioned into sports education, or trainers who have honed their skills within Spain’s most prestigious organisations. It is their career paths, as much as their methods, that make the difference on the pitch.
