Location
The intensive soccer camp of the FC Metz International Academy takes place in the city of Spa in Belgium (about 40 minutes from Liège).
Spa has been renowned for its thermal springs for a long time. Many professional soccer clubs come here for their preseason camp to prepare themselves and take advantage of the benefits of this city. In addition to its thermal waters, Spa is also famous for hosting one of the Formula 1 Grand Prix races at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. During this F1 weekend, the city is bustling with tourists from all over the world.
Spa is also a historic city that has retained its old-world charm with its cobbled streets and historic buildings. There are also numerous green spaces with parks ideal for relaxation. It’s an ideal environment for a preseason camp and to discover this magnificent region.
Accommodation
The FC Metz soccer camp in Belgium takes place in SPA and the players will be accommodated at the SPA Sports Center.
They will stay in rooms for 2 to 6 people with private bathrooms and toilets. Children will have access to WIFI on the campus.
Players will also have access to a common lounge area with TV, video games, and a refrigerator. This will allow them to socialize and relax when they are not on the fields.
The sporting Facilities
The FC Metz soccer camp in Belgium takes place at the Centre Sportif La Fraineuse in Spa. It is a campus dedicated entirely to sports throughout the year with quality facilities.
Your children will train on natural grass soccer fields. The sports center has 4 soccer fields, an athletics track, a gym, 3 gymnasiums, 6 tennis courts, and a kayak pond.
Your children will be in a 100% sports-oriented and performance-focused environment during this week of FC Metz camp.
Catering and food
The FC Metz soccer camp in Spa is available only on a full board basis. Your children will therefore have breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner.
Meals will be served at the sports center restaurant, which will offer meals adapted to children’s needs as well as those of athletes.

Training
The FC Metz soccer camp in Belgium is an intensive preseason camp that allows players to arrive prepared for their respective clubs. This camp will follow the methodology of the club’s Performance Academy.
It’s a methodology based on the pursuit of performance. Players will work on all aspects of the modern soccer player: technical, tactical, and physical exercises. There is also a focus on position-specific training with specific workshops aimed at improving the player’s progression in their role within the team. The camp also emphasizes essential values ​​for success:

To implement this methodology, players will have 2 training sessions per day. These are intensive training sessions that will allow your child to be ahead of the rest of the team when they return to their club.
Coaches and coaching method
The coaches of the FC Metz soccer camp are all experienced and certified coaches who train throughout the year either at the FC Metz Academy or in their respective clubs. They all have experience working with young players and know perfectly well how to help them progress.
