The Atlético de Madrid soccer camp returns in summer 2027 with 3 programs for all profiles.
Elite Camp – Video-based selection
10 days / 9 nights on a full-board basis for ages 12–17. Small group training sessions with academy coaches, strength conditioning, video analysis and individual report. Registration requires submitting a gameplay video.
High Performance Camp – Full Board (Open to all)
6 days / 5 nights for ages 9–17, boys and girls. Physical conditioning, video analysis, educational sessions, excursions and gala dinner. No selection required.
High Performance Camp – Half Board (Open to all)
5 days without accommodation for ages 5–14, boys and girls. 3 daily training sessions, activities, swimming pool and final tournament. Ideal for families already in the area.

Location
The high-performance Atletico Madrid camp takes place in Madrid itself which allows your son to train in the best possible conditions throughout the week. He will live, train, play directly in the club’s city. Participants will train at the official academy training center plus stay at the official academy residence. Your child will therefore spend the entire week in Madrid.
Madrid is a vibrant capital that attracts millions of visitors each year thanks to its unique energy. The city offers an ideal mix of history, culture, modernity. Its historic center captivates with lively streets plus iconic squares such as Puerta del Sol. Madrid enjoys a renowned gastronomy famous for tapas plus traditional markets. Landmark museums such as the Prado or the Reina Sofía strengthen its cultural prestige. The city also provides a famous nightlife that delivers a memorable experience. Madrid lives at the pace of its two football clubs including Atletico de Madrid which your son will have the chance to experience from the inside.
Accommodation
For the Elite camp only, your children will stay at the official academy residence. This residence features the club’s colors with an all-inclusive setup. Your children will stay in twin rooms with private bathroom, flat-screen TV plus free WIFI. Common areas are available so that players can relax together with game rooms, ping-pong tables, billiards, a rooftop, a mini football pitch plus a Teqball table so they can keep practicing even during free time.
Your children will live like academy players for a full week with optimal conditions fully oriented toward performance.
The sporting Facilities
For one full week, your children will truly live, train, play like professional players which begins with the training center where they will train. They will go to the Alcala de Henares Sports Center, the official academy training complex of Atletico Madrid. This high-performance campus includes:
- A 3,000-seat soccer stadium
- 7 football pitches with natural grass plus synthetic turf
- A fully equipped weight room
- A state-of-the-art gym
- A physiotherapy room
- A video analysis room

Your children will train in optimal conditions with every possible facility so they can work on every aspect of their development. Having access to such elite-level infrastructure for a full week is a rare opportunity. This is the performance center used by all Atletico de Madrid youth players where the club prepares its future professionals.
Catering and food
The Atletico de Madrid camps operate on a full-board basis with breakfast, lunch, dinner included. All meals plus menus are designed for athletic performance with guidance from dietitians. Your children will receive balanced, varied meals tailored to the needs of young athletes.
All meals will be served at the Atletico de Madrid residence. If your child has allergies or follows a specific diet, you must inform us during registration so that it can be taken into account.
Safety and security
Your children’s safety is the top priority at the Atletico de Madrid soccer camps. They will be supervised by experienced coaches plus staff members who work year-round with academy players and possess strong expertise in youth supervision. Your children will remain under adult supervision at all times, seven days per week plus twenty-four hours per day. The Atletico de Madrid residence as well as the training center are highly secure with no access permitted to anyone outside the organization.

Training
The high-performance Atletico Madrid soccer camps focus on athletic development with multiple training sessions each day both on and off the pitch. The program plus methodology follow a one-week cycle tailored to each player’s individual progress with the goal of improving efficiency within a team. This objective is built on three pillars:
- Small-group work: players are divided into reduced groups so each participant benefits from personalized attention plus optimal feedback for faster improvement.
- Position-specific training: the core of the Atletico de Madrid program is an approach that stays as individual as possible. Thanks to the video submitted before registration, coaches will know each player’s position then adapt all sessions accordingly.
- Technical–tactical training: individual skills must be applied to the collective. Official academy coaches will lead sessions designed to make each player more technical plus more intelligent on the pitch.
Physical preparation is also a key part of the week with a dedicated fitness coach present every day. Morning sessions include muscle activation, weight-room work plus stretching to improve physical conditioning plus recovery.
In addition, your children will be evaluated by club analysts who will track each player’s performance to create an individual video delivered at the end of the camp highlighting strengths plus areas for improvement.
Coaches and coaching method
The Atletico Madrid Elite soccer camps are designed plus led by their own coaches, fitness trainers, plus analysts. With their experience, knowledge, mastery of the club’s methodology plus teaching skills, they deliver the highest level of training so your child can reach peak performance. Each coach present at the Atletico Madrid Elite camps manages a team within the academy during the year. They hold the highest required certifications plus possess unmatched experience in developing young footballers.
They will spend the entire week with your children both on the pitch plus off the pitch to build team cohesion just like in the academy training environment.
Staff and activities
When players are not training, academy teams remain on-site to supervise them twenty-four hours per day. They will accompany your children during all training sessions, activities plus transfers. They ensure the camp is unforgettable by managing the group plus its dynamics.
The staff also includes a medical unit available at the training center to support players in case of any issue, plus an academy coordinator who ensures smooth organization and logistics throughout the camp.
Trips and days out
During the Atletico Madrid Elite camp week, your children will enjoy two excursions to take a break from training plus discover new experiences:
- City tour of Madrid: on Wednesday afternoon, all players will explore the beautiful city of Madrid accompanied by coaches plus staff.
- Tour of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano: all players will also have the opportunity to visit Atletico de Madrid’s stunning modern stadium. They will experience what professional players live daily with access to the locker rooms, press room plus sidelines. The visit concludes at the club museum showcasing numerous trophies.

- Arrivals take place on Sunday directly at the Atletico de Madrid academy residence at 6pm
- Departures take place on Friday at 7pm.
- If you choose the airport transfer option, arrivals must be between 10:00 and 16:00 on Sunday and departures on Friday

Arrival
Arrivals for the Atletico Madrid Elite camp take place on Sunday between 10:00 and 16:00. You must drop off your child directly at the academy residence where the entire camp team will be present to welcome them.
If you select the airport transfer option from Madrid airport, your child’s flight must arrive between 10am and 4pm on Sunday morning. No shuttle service is available outside this timeframe.

Departure
Departures from the camp take place on Friday at 6pm. Parents must pick up their children directly at the residence.
If you selected the airport transfer option, your child’s flight must depart between 10am and 4pm.
