Train where America’s future pros are made: IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is one of the most prestigious sports academies in the world. The camp welcomes boys and girls ages 9 to 18 on a top-of-the-line campus with 16 natural grass fields, a stadium with video facilities, a state-of-the-art gym and a mental performance department.
The program offers two training sessions a day, strength and conditioning and group mental performance sessions, built around 6 areas: technique, game situations, advanced techniques, competition, physical and mental. Every camper receives a personalized final evaluation, an Under Armour T-shirt and backpack, and a one-year IMG Academy Essentials membership.
Campers stay in the campus residence: modern double rooms with private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. All meals are served at the campus dining hall (balanced buffet). A day camp option (without housing) is also available.

Location
The IMG Academy campus is located in Bradenton, Florida (Gulf Coast), just 12 minutes from Bradenton Beach. It is a dream location for a high-quality soccer camp with top-of-the-line facilities.
This part of Florida is authentic, with a true local vibe. Its sunny beaches will delight your kids during their soccer camp. There are also unspoiled landscapes and natural areas to explore. A complete change of scenery awaits your child.
Being on the coast means great weather all year round, giving your kids ideal conditions for their soccer camp.
Accommodation
The big advantage of the IMG camp is that it has its own residence on campus: a high-end residence with modern double rooms, each with a private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Campers also have access to the hotel amenities, including a beautiful outdoor pool. There is also a smoothie bar, movie nights and activities in the common areas. It is the perfect place to enjoy free time during camp week and soak up the sun with teammates. An incredible experience awaits your child, even off the field.
The sporting Facilities
When it comes to sports facilities, this is top of the line and the very best the United States has to offer. IMG Academy is a world leader among sports academies, and the campus lives up to that reputation.
For soccer, 16 natural grass fields are available to the kids. There is also a soccer stadium with locker rooms, a meeting room and the option to film games for video analysis. Players have access to facilities worthy of the biggest soccer teams.
Players also have access to an ultra-modern gym with all the equipment they need, so they can work on strength, power and cardio.
In their free time, they can also use the hotel amenities, such as the basketball and beach volleyball courts or ping-pong tables.
Catering and food
IMG Academy puts kids’ performance at the heart of its program, and nutrition is key. Kids eat at a buffet run by The Servery, the camp dining hall. They get 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Since they are very active, the staff make sure that each child gets the nutrition they need to perform.

For an extra fee, they can also enjoy a pizza place, a bakery and food trucks on campus.
Safety and security
Safety is IMG Academy’s number one priority. Each residence has its own supervisors who look after the kids’ safety and well-being. There is also a security company on campus 24/7, managing security both on campus and at the entrances. Every entrance is controlled and access is limited to IMG Academy staff.
IMG Academy also partners with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, highly regarded nationwide, which ensures very fast care in case of injury or accident.

Training
IMG Academy offers a complete training program designed to help every player reach their development goals, whatever their position or skill level: from first-time campers to high school standouts preparing for college recruitment. The program combines individual work, small-group work and real game situations.
Each camp week includes:
- 2 soccer training sessions per day (AM and PM)
- strength and conditioning
- group mental performance sessions
The IMG Academy methodology covers 6 development areas:
- Technical: first touch, passing accuracy, dribbling and shooting technique
- Game situations: positional play, spacing, transitions and reading the game
- Advanced techniques: 1v1 attacking and defending, set pieces and advanced tactics
- Competition: small-sided games and performing under game pressure
- Physical: speed, agility, endurance and injury-risk reduction
- Mental performance: confidence, communication, decision-making and pregame preparation
What sets IMG Academy apart is the personalized training available through its add-ons:

Goalkeeper camps are also available for ages 12 to 18. Your child will come away with a better understanding of the game, of their body and of everything that makes an elite soccer player.
Coaches and coaching method
At IMG Academy, players are coached by expert, certified coaches with years of experience at the highest level. With more than 40 years of experience developing athletes, the academy has built a methodology that has already produced several MLS players and countless NCAA Division I players.
The methodology covers every aspect of the player:
- Technical: first touch, passing, dribbling and shooting
- Reading the game and tactics
- Small-sided games and competition
- Physical: speed, agility, endurance and injury-risk reduction
- Mental performance: confidence, communication, decision-making and pregame routine
Position-specific instruction is also available. Your child will get complete training and advice from the best in the business.
Staff and activities
When players are off the field, they are supervised by IMG Academy staff who look after their well-being and run activities during free time. This builds bonds between players even when they are not training and strengthens team chemistry.
Activities vary: poolside movie nights, beach volleyball tournaments, pool games, painting workshops and more. All activities are led by counselors.
Kids will have an unforgettable experience, with memories made both on and off the soccer field.
Trips and days out
A soccer camp should also include fun moments off campus so our players can recharge and relax. That is why field trips are part of the IMG Academy soccer camp program.
