- A magical setting in the peaks of Malaga
- Double rooms with private bathrooms
- A multi-sports complex: swimming pool, padel etc.
- Ideal training conditions
The multi-sport complex is located in the heights of Malaga with an incredible view. Overlooking the sea, the kids will be hosted and taken care of in optimal conditions.
Malaga is a port city located in the south of Spain in Andalucía and it is one of the oldest cities in Spain. The capital of the Costa del Sol, Malaga has long been overshadowed by its neighbouring cities like Seville, Cordoba or Grenada. However, its trendy seaside resort, its renovated historical centre, its unmissable monuments and sights, its lovely climate and finally its beautiful beaches are sure to dazzle you. A trip to Malaga is sure to be filled with amazing historical and cultural experiences.
Located just next to the sea, the complex is the perfect setting for an unbelievable week of holiday. With the pitches a short distance from the bedrooms, the campers won’t have have to walk far to relax after an intense training.
There are no dormitories at the Kids Football Camp. Every single room in the residence is a double room with a private bathroom. Because of how hot the summers can get, all the rooms are air conditioned. The kids will also have Wi-Fi access everywhere in the complex, so that they can tell you about their day!
One of the complex’s many advantages is for non-soccer activities after the training sessions. Depending on their preferences, the campers can chill out at the pool or play basketball, handball or Padel. There is also a relaxed common area where the children can meet to watch a film or play video games.
The sporting Facilities
Thanks to the high quality of the complex, Kids Football Camps have all the facilities they need to provide the kids with a worthy intensive soccer camp experience.
Campers will have unlimited access to the artificial pitch that overlooks the complex. Artificial turf is perfect for training because it guarantees a top quality playing surface no matter the weather conditions. The kids will also have access to a gym so that they can physically prepare. It is therefore a general program that is offered to the kids.
A soccer player’s development does not only happen on the football pitch. That’s why the complex also has a whole host of other sports to also play, including Padel, basketball and handball. What better place for a soccer camp than a multi-sports complex a couple minutes walk from the sea?
Catering and food
The complex has its own kitchens and the meals are specifically prepared for young players, so that they have all the energy and nutrients they need for a successful soccer camp.
The meals are cooked onsite and then laid for the kids to serve themselves, buffet style. Of course, if your child has any dietary requirements or allergies, just let us know and the menu will be prepared accordingly.
Usually, Spaniards eat very late, but to make sure that the kids get a balanced diet, lunch will be had a little bit earlier (12:30 PM – 1:15 PM). This will give them the time they need to digest their lunch before the second training session of the day, which takes place at about 3 PM.
Safety and security
Security is guaranteed 24 hours a day at the complex, which is made easier by everything being at the same place. The accommodation, the soccer pitch, the gym, the swimming pool, the basketball, handball and Padel courts and even the eating halls, everything is within the complex. It is one of the camp’s biggest advantages.
On top of that, staff will also reside in the complex to ensure the kids’ safety and wellbeing, and no camper is allowed to leave the premises without a member of staff accompanying them. Also, the entrance to the complex is closed from 10 PM to 7 AM, meaning no one can get out or in except in emergency situations.
In terms of COVID, there are sanitary guidelines to follow decided by the government, so the camp makes sure to follow all the rules.
The camp program
Coaches and coaching method
The Kids Football Camp is a camp that includes:
- 5 training sessions with coaching based on the skill level of each camper (technical training, dribbling, ball control, passing, long passing, play in tight spaces, 2 and 3 player combinations, volleys, etc.)
- 2 beach soccer sessions
- 1 big tournament over 4 evenings
The training program was prepared so that the players could develop the entirety of their game and skills over a variety of different playing surfaces.
The coaches all have UEFA PRO certificates. The campers are being coached by professional who are only occupied with helping the players becoming the best they can be.
Staff and activities
For full-board campers, soccer is not the only activity that is on the schedule. There will be times for the campers to relax as well as non-soccer activities, like:
- Table football
- Sporting activities (basketball, handball, swimming and games)
- Ping Pong
- PS4 tournaments
- Board games
All these activities will be coordinated by animators with BAFA certificates (a French certificate for animators of holiday camps) and are therefore perfect for taking care of the kids.
Trips and days out
During the week of soccer, the kids will have the opportunity to relax at the pool which is located only 5 minutes away from the complex. Campers can go and play beach soccer or just enjoy the sun and the sea with their friends.
One afternoon, the campers will tour the beautiful city of Malaga, finding all the treasures that the Andalusian city is hiding. Your child is sure to be impressed by the massive Arabic fortresses like Alcazaba, and the Gibralfaro Castle has a phenomenal view of the city.
However, the highlight is sure to be visiting Malaga FC’s stadium: La Roselada Stadium. An incredible stadium with over 28 000 seats, the kids will have access to the pitch, the dressing room and the trophy room. The stuff of dreams.
