Soccer CampColumbus Crew

Why do a Columbus Crew soccer camp ?

Like many other cities in the US, Columbus has so many things worth doing and places worth seeing. Located in Ohio, there are a number of indoor trails : the coffee trail, the beer trail and the Made in Columbus trail too ! They are great opportunities to see the city of Columbus all while tasting the best coffee and ale it has to offer.

If you enjoy nature, then visit the fascinating Topiary Park. While most artists take landscape as their inspiration, the exact opposite has happened here : a painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Isle of La Grand Jatte, is the inspiration for the garden ! The Franklin Park Conservatory with its 400 different species of plant is also definitely worth taking a look at.

Ohio has four seasons, which means that there can be all sorts of weather in Columbus. Spring and summer are obvious picks for both vacations and for soccer camps, however you should also consider visiting Columbus in the fall and winter. In any case, you will have a great time in Columbus, regardless of the season.

Columbus Crew, a club that cares about soccer

Columbus Crew was founded in 1994 and plays its home games at the Historic Crew Stadium. Interestingly, the Historic Crew Stadium was the first ever MLS stadium built specifically for soccer, compared to most other stadiums that were also used for soccer or other sports. Columbus Crew has won the Supporters’ Shield an impressive three times, only one less than DC United and LA Galaxy. Columbus Crew is also a club that knows how to help players grow, proven by the fact that Manchester City, one of the best clubs in the world, swooped in to buy goalkeeper Zack Steffen, in what was the American club’s biggest ever transfer. There is no doubt that they know how to run a soccer camp.
