In the heart of East London, the West Ham United Foundation camp gives boys and girls aged 10-17 a taste of daily life at a Premier League club, at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities.
Mixed camp available on full board (1 or 2 weeks, Sunday to Friday) or as a day camp (5 days, Monday to Friday). Accommodation in en-suite rooms at UCL (University College London), at the foot of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
19 hours of training per week: technique, tactics, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development and injury prevention, with the West Ham United Foundation coaches. Pro-Experience seminars, personal development plan and progress report. Optional English lessons (8 hours per week, British Council accredited). West Ham United stadium tour. Evening activities every night for full-board players. West Ham United Foundation training kit provided.
Transfers available from Heathrow and Gatwick airports or St Pancras station.

Location
The West Ham United Foundation football camp takes place in East London. Training sessions are held at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities. London is an incredible city that your children will have the chance to discover. It is the vibrant capital of the United Kingdom, home to world-famous historic landmarks. From the London Eye to Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, your children will be at the heart of a city steeped in history that lives and breathes football. London is one of the cities with the most professional clubs in the world, including West Ham United. It offers your children the perfect blend of tradition and modernity: a stimulating and inspiring environment for an unforgettable football camp with one of the capital’s most iconic clubs.
Accommodation
Full-board players stay at the UCL (University College London) residence, in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London. The accommodation is modern, with a design inspired by London artists. Your children stay in en-suite rooms with everything they need: storage, a desk and free, supervised internet access. A private coach takes them from the residence to the training pitches every day.
The sporting Facilities
The West Ham United Foundation football camps take place at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub and the West Ham United Foundation facilities in East London. These state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to high-level football and develop both the footballer and the all-round athlete. Your children train on latest-generation artificial grass pitches. The West Ham United Foundation embodies the spirit of the club by using the power of football to inspire, educate and enrich local communities, making it an exceptional place for sporting and personal development.
Catering and food
The West Ham United Foundation football camp is available on full board or as a day camp. It is one of the only football camps in England to offer a day camp option: you drop your child off in the morning and collect them at the end of the day. Lunch is included. For full-board players, all meals are included: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner are served at the residence, and lunch at the training centre. If your child follows a specific diet or has allergies, please let us know so that we can take this into account.
Safety and security
Safety is paramount on our football camps, and at the West Ham United Foundation camps it is ensured by skilled, professional coaches. Your children are never alone and are supervised by adults 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The West Ham United Foundation welcomes international players all year round at its Academy of Football: this extensive experience in looking after young people is put to good use during the camps.

Training
The West Ham United Foundation football camps offer your children an Elite Pro-Experience programme to experience the daily life of a professional footballer and reach their full potential. The high-performance programme includes 19 hours of football training per week, spread over 5 days, covering technique, tactics, team preparation, performance analysis, mental development and injury prevention.
The methodology focuses on the player’s all-round progress, with a high-performance goal:
- Individual performance: technique, analysis of strengths and weaknesses, personal development plan
- Team play: tactics, team preparation and match situations
- Pro-Experience seminars: player scouting, nutrition, physical conditioning and other specialist areas, delivered by West Ham United Foundation staff
- Technology: video analysis and the latest training techniques
The camp is designed for players who already play at a good level and want to take the next step, in a professional club environment with coaches fully focused on performance. Participants are selected based on their ability. Goalkeepers can opt for specialist training adapted to their level.
Coaches and coaching method
The football camp director is Sam Taylor, who enjoyed a professional playing career of more than 15 years and has 10 years of coaching experience. He has led the West Ham United Academy as well as the Player Development programme. He therefore knows exactly what elite football demands and the qualities needed to succeed. He has built a team of passionate, experienced coaches to help your children progress and reach their goals. They all hold some of the highest coaching qualifications: UEFA A or B, FA Level 3 or 4. They are part of the West Ham United Foundation team and have a thorough command of its methodology, delivering high-quality training sessions. During the camp, a professional coach from West Ham United also comes to share their expertise and knowledge of professional football.
Staff and activities
During the West Ham United Foundation football camps, your children are supervised by experienced coaches who are used to working with young footballers. On and off the pitch, they look after the safety and wellbeing of every child. For full-board players, activities are organised every evening to build team spirit and unwind after intense days of training. Excursions are also planned to discover the club and the city of London.
Trips and days out
The West Ham United Foundation football camps are intense on the pitch, but excursions also give the children a break from football:
- West Ham United stadium tour: a half-day visit to discover the club’s stadium, included in all camps
- Day in London: for 2-week camps, a full day to discover the capital’s landmarks
- Shopping and karting: for 2-week camps, a half-day during the second week
Language Class
The West Ham United Foundation football camp offers the optional Football + English programme: your child takes English lessons in addition to their training. With this option, they have 19 hours of football training and 8 hours of English lessons per week. The lessons are accredited by the British Council, guaranteeing high-quality teaching. Students take a test on arrival and are placed in classes of no more than 15 students of a similar level. Lessons use a fun, participative approach focused on speaking skills in a football context. All teachers are qualified and experienced. This option is ideal for improving English during the holidays while playing their favourite sport. It must be added at the time of booking.

Arrival
Full-board players arrive at the residence on Sunday between 14:00 and 18:00.
If you choose the airport or station transfer, your child is collected at their arrival time. A supplement applies for arrivals before 09:00 or after 21:00. Flight details must be sent to us at least 20 days before arrival. For day campers, check-in takes place on Monday at 08:30. Children then arrive every day at 08:30, from Tuesday to Friday.
Departure
The last day of the camp for full-board players is Friday. The exact departure time will be confirmed before the camp. If you have chosen the airport or station transfer, your child is dropped off in time for their departure. A supplement applies for departures before 09:00 or after 21:00. For day campers, parents collect their children at 17:00, Monday to Friday.
