This is a High-Performance camp with intensive training, physical conditioning sessions and individual reporting with the coaches. Exclusively reserved for players aged 12 to 19 with a good football level to guarantee the competitiveness and quality of the camp, your child will be placed in the best conditions to progress.

Location
Just a 45-minute drive from Malaga, the FC Malaga City campus is in Almuñécar, known for its quality of life, picturesque landscapes, rocky beaches and rich cultural history. With a population of around 30,000, the town offers plenty of entertainment and activities without losing sight of football, which remains the main focus of the FC Malaga City programme.
Located on the Costa Tropical, the region boasts a near-perfect climate, with year-round sunshine and very little rain. The town also boasts several magnificent beaches, including Playa de San Cristobal and Playa de Velilla, with crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming and water sports. Almuñécar is also renowned for its gastronomy, with many restaurants serving local specialities such as fresh seafood and fish dishes.
Your children will therefore be in ideal conditions for quality training in a favourable environment.
Accommodation
FC Malaga City has its own residence for its academy players and summer trainees. The residence is located next to the sea in a beautiful setting.
The players will be staying with their team-mates in modern rooms with bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi.
All players will also have access to common areas such as the private games room featuring a cinema, table tennis and other activities. There is also a fully-equipped gym and a private restaurant. Off the pitch, players will thus have plenty to keep them busy. Not to mention that the complex is just a short walk from the sea.
The facilities are worthy of the greatest training centres of the biggest clubs, with a private campus where everything is integrated and put in place for your children’s performance.
The sporting Facilities
The FC Malaga City campus is a high-end football centre with natural grass pitches and latest generation synthetic pitches. During the camp, players will have access to:
- Estadio Francisco Bonet: 5,000-seater stadium with natural grass pitch located in Almuñécar town centre.
- Campo Municipal Rio Verde: The academy’s main training ground. It is located 5 minutes’ walk from the campus.
- Estadio Pepe Luis Bobadilla: 3rd generation synthetic surface located in Nerja, Spain, a 20-minute drive from Almuñécar.
- Campo Municipal de San Roque: A facility with high-quality synthetic pitches located in Torrox, Spain, approximately 25 minutes’ drive from Almuñécar.
Also, the training centre has a modern gym, a private physiotherapy clinic and video facilities.
It is therefore in an ultra-professional environment that your children will attend a high-level training camp.
Catering and food
The FC Malaga City football centre has its own private restaurant on campus. The players have 3 meals a day, as well as snacks. The meals are prepared in such a way as to ensure that our young players receive all the energy they need for high-level football and intense training.
It is also a time to relax and bond after strenuous training sessions.
If your child has a special diet, please let us know when you register and we will of course take this into account.
Safety and security
The advantage of FC Malaga City camps is that they take place on the club’s private campus. All the facilities, apart from the pitches, are on the campus: residence, restaurant, video room, clinic and gym. It is a 100% secure area to which only staff and players have access.
The children are under the 24-hour supervision of FC Malaga City coaches and staff, who are used to looking after the youngsters throughout the year. Your child is in safe hands on this camp.

Training
FC Malaga City’s methodology and philosophy is focused on player development with a modern approach to learning. With the many years of professional experience of the FCMC coaches, the players will follow a cutting-edge training programme.
All aspects of the high-level player are considered with varied training sessions:
- Training focused on physical fitness, with reports on mobility, strength, muscular conditioning and speed. Through technology, the players will be tested and evaluated in order to monitor their progress.
- Training focused on technique: inspired by the Tottenham programme with which they are partners, the players will work on the technical basics of each movement and position.
- Filmed matches with debriefing
- Beach Soccer sessions: they will work on their physical and muscular endurance with training sessions on the beach.
The FC Malaga City programme is comprehensive, with training sessions every day in the morning to get the best out of each player. The afternoons will be reserved for Beach Soccer sessions and conferences. These are very important as they allow the players to have a better understanding of football and the game with the presence of experts.
Coaches and coaching method
All the coaches on the FCMC camps have at least a UEFA B qualification. This demonstrates the professionalism and expertise inherent in the camp. They have all been working for a long time in the development of young footballers.
These coaches vouch for the identity of the game and the methodology implemented in all categories. They are also free to have their own management and coaching style, while adhering to the same guidelines:

These activities give you a break from football and encourage group cohesion. They are organised in the afternoon; the mornings being devoted to football.
