Location
New Orleans, located in Louisiana, is an iconic U.S. city known for its unique mix of French, Creole, Spanish, and African cultures. It’s world-famous for its festive vibe, vibrant traditions, and its legendary carnival: Mardi Gras. The birthplace of jazz, it gave rise to legends like Louis Armstrong, and its music scene still thrives every night on its lively streets.
The French Quarter, with its wrought-iron balconies and historic streets, is the cityโs cultural heart. The local food scene is just as rich โ blending Cajun spices, fresh seafood, and traditional dishes like gumbo and beignets.
A city full of contrasts and history, New Orleans is also a place of resilience โ shaped by Hurricane Katrina and now moving forward with creativity. Itโs a place where art, music, sports, and joy come together every day. A perfect host for a meaningful, multicultural event.
The sporting Facilities
The Lafreniere Park Sports Complex is located in Metairie, just outside New Orleans, Louisiana. This top-tier sports facility includes multiple soccer fields, including two FIFA-certified synthetic turf fields that provide excellent playing conditions. With modern lighting, games can be played both during the day and in the evening.
The complex is a key training site for the Louisiana Fire Soccer Club, which offers youth development programs on-site. Located within a nearly 155-acre park, the facility goes beyond sports โ featuring a 2-mile running trail, picnic areas, a disc golf course, and playgrounds for children.
This multipurpose venue is designed to blend sports, recreation, and community life in a green, well-kept, and lively environment. Itโs the perfect setting to host camps, tournaments, and family-friendly events in the New Orleans area.
Catering and food
Each day, children have a lunch break from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM, intended to give them a real moment of rest. Itโs a chance to relax, refuel, and catch their breath between the key moments of the day. For their well-being, itโs recommended to pack a healthy meal along with a water bottle to keep them properly hydrated.
The camp follows a pace thatโs suited to young players, alternating energetic sessions with recovery time. Regular breaks allow them to rest, hydrate, and enjoy a snack provided by FC Barcelona. The goal is simple: to offer a balanced environment where fun, improvement, and kindness go hand in hand โ so every child enjoys a meaningful week without ever feeling overwhelmed.
Safety and security
From the moment they arrive, children are welcomed into a safe and positive environment where everything is designed to make them feel accepted, heard, and respected. The atmosphere of the camp is based on a caring presence that helps every child feel confident from the very beginning.
The coaching team is dedicated to creating a setting that encourages personal growth, allowing each child to grow at their own pace, in line with their personality and needs. Here, soccer becomes a tool for personal development โ far beyond just technical training. Confidence, teamwork, and the joy of improving together are nurtured in a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment.
