Location
The camp takes place at Stade Municipal de Quarteira, a well-established sports facility just steps from Vilamoura.
The Algarve is southern Portugal in all its splendour: over 200 km of coastline, beaches ranked among the most beautiful in Europe, golden light and a mild climate that make this region an ideal sporting destination. Vilamoura sits at the heart of this privileged environment — a modern, well-equipped town that attracts families from around the world each year, drawn by its quality facilities and way of life.
For children, it’s the perfect playground: well-kept pitches, space, sunshine and a holiday atmosphere that makes every training session even more enjoyable. The sporting Facilities
Sessions take place at Stade Municipal de Quarteira, a sports complex suited for hosting young athletes in all seasons. The pitches offer a functional and well-maintained setting, allowing the different age groups to train simultaneously in the best conditions.
Safety and security
Whether in April under the spring sun or in August during the Algarve heat, participant safety is an absolute priority. The Real Madrid Foundation coaches adapt the programme to weather conditions: regular hydration breaks, planned rotations, controlled group sizes. In summer especially, the 9:00 am – 1:00 pm format avoids the hottest hours of the day — a decision made for each child’s well-being.
Supervision relies on UEFA-certified professionals, selected by the Foundation, with a ratio of one coach for every 12 to 14 players. A structured, supportive and perfectly organised environment so that families can enjoy their stay with complete peace of mind.

Training
In Vilamoura, the programme adapts to the season. In August, the 9:00 am – 1:00 pm format concentrates the core work into the morning — technical drills, games and matches — wrapping up before the hottest hours.
Each day is organised around a specific theme, worked on in all its forms by groups assembled by age and level. The intensity is there, the fun too — and by the end of the week, every child leaves with new habits and an official Real Madrid Foundation certificate.
Coaches and coaching method
In the Algarve, as everywhere the Real Madrid Foundation sets up its pitches, nothing is left to chance. The coaches present in Vilamoura are mandated directly by the Foundation — UEFA licence holders, active year-round within the Madrid programmes. Their method: structured, progressive, adapted to each age group, so that every child leaves better than when they arrived.
With one coach for every 12 to 14 players, each participant receives individualised attention, concrete feedback and constant support. The Real Madrid philosophy — high standards, respect, self-improvement — guides every drill, from the first warm-up to the closing ceremony.
