The camp takes place at Estádio de Futebol Fontainhas, a well-known sports facility among the local clubs of Cascais.
Cascais needs no introduction. A former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family, this Estoril coast town blends seaside elegance, historical heritage and contemporary dynamism. About thirty kilometres from Lisbon, it attracts visitors from around the world each year who come to enjoy its beaches, marina, shopping streets and oceanfront restaurants.
For families accompanying their child to camp, Cascais is an ideal base: everything is accessible on foot or by bike, the town is safe and lively, and the surroundings are packed with activities — from the Sintra-Cascais natural park to the Guincho beaches, via Estoril and its attractions. A week of football for the kids, a successful holiday for the whole family.

Training
In Cascais, the days are long — and they’re worth every minute. From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the programme alternates technical drills, team games, matches and tournaments, with well-calibrated breaks to maintain every child’s energy and focus.
The morning is dedicated to technical work: three progressive blocks built around the theme of the day, interspersed with hydration breaks and group rotations. After lunch, it’s time for competitive intensity: challenges, team building, then themed matches and tournaments that put into practice everything worked on in the morning.
Each group — from the youngest (6-7 years old) to the most advanced (11-12 years old) — follows its own progression, in a balanced collective that fosters emulation and confidence. On Friday, the week wraps up in style with the official Real Madrid Foundation diploma ceremony.
Coaches and coaching method
Cascais is one of Portugal’s most sought-after towns — and the Real Madrid Foundation brings the same level of excellence here as everywhere else. The coaches running the camp are mandated directly by the Foundation: UEFA licence holders, active year-round in the Real Madrid Foundation’s programmes and the Madrid Academy. Not luxury substitutes — professionals who embody the Real Madrid method in every gesture.
On the Fontainhas pitch, their work is precise and personalised. Every drill fits into a progression logic designed for the player’s age and level. Feedback is concrete, corrections immediate, the atmosphere demanding but supportive. With one coach for every 12 to 14 players, supported by local coaches, every child receives genuine attention — from the first warm-up to the last minute of play.
