The Arsenal FC football camps now take place on the Haileybury School campus.
Located in Hertford Heath, in Hertfordshire, Haileybury is about 20 miles north of London.
The school provides an ideal setting for a football camp: extensive natural grass football pitches, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and a 25-metre indoor swimming pool within its sports complex.
The campus also includes modern classrooms, perfectly suited for language lessons.

Accommodation
Reserved for boys, Haileybury School offers high-quality boarding houses on site, with a dedicated housemaster/mistress who ensures participants’ well-being. Most rooms are single or double (with some 4 to 8 bed rooms for younger pupils) with shared bathrooms.
All the boarding houses include comfortable common rooms and amenities where students can relax during their free time and evenings.

Catering and food

Safety and security
At the Arsenal FC football camp – Haileybury, everything takes place on the Haileybury School campus, in a green and secure setting in Hertford, north of London.

Training
During the summer Arsenal FC football camp at Haileybury, two programmes are offered:

100% Football: up to 30 hours of weekly training, with 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. Young players will work on every aspect of the game—technical, tactical, physical and mental—following the club’s official methodology.

“English + Football”: a balanced format offering 15 hours of training and 15 hours of English lessons each week, allowing players to improve on pitch and in language.
The training programme is directly inspired by the Arsenal Academy, following the “Play the Arsenal Way” philosophy. Participants adopt the same approach used in the professional youth setup, focusing on game understanding, creativity, decision making and team spirit.
Each player undergoes an individual assessment to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Certified coaches from Arsenal Football Development then deliver varied sessions combining technical drills, tactical work, match play, pressing, transitions and game analysis.
The Arsenal camps at Haileybury welcome all levels for boys, in an inclusive and motivating atmosphere aimed at building confidence, development and a love for the game.
Specific sessions are arranged for goalkeepers to fine-tune the essential skills of this demanding position.
Coaches and coaching method
All training sessions at the Arsenal FC camp at Haileybury follow the “Play the Arsenal Way” philosophy, the true DNA of the club. This approach emphasises technique, game intelligence, creativity and collective effort.
The sessions are led by qualified coaches, all holding UEFA B diplomas or English Football Association Youth certification, ensuring high-quality pedagogical support.
At the end of the camp, every participant receives an official progression certificate, presented by their coach. This document allows parents to monitor their child’s development over the course of the experience.
Staff and activities
A dedicated team of supervisors is present 24/7 on campus throughout the Arsenal FC camp at Haileybury.
The certified coaches manage the sporting sessions, while a separate team handles day-to-day activities and supervision outside training hours.
These staff members ensure that each child feels comfortable, safe and fully supported during the stay. Their mission: to create a warm, attentive environment conducive to an unforgettable experience.
Language Class
For those enrolled in the “English + Football” programme, the camp combines 15 hours of training with 15 hours of English lessons taught by qualified instructors.
The teachers, all passionate and certified, use interactive and engaging methods that help students feel at ease and boost their confidence. Before classes begin, each participant takes a placement test to ensure they are placed in the most suitable group for optimal progression.
Each day, children study three distinct lesson types to broaden vocabulary, precision in speech and writing, and, above all, self-confidence. The lessons are:

Classes are capped at 14 students per teacher to guarantee personalised instruction and high quality learning.

Arrival
Camp drop-off is on Sundays between 15:00 and 16:30, for those bringing participants themselves.
If using the airport or train transfer option, the child must arrive between 09:00 and 17:00 on Sunday.
Departure
Camp pickup is on Saturdays between 09:00 and 11:00 if collecting in person.
If using the transfer option, departures from Heathrow, Gatwick or St Pancras must be between 09:00 and 17:00.
