Why do an Los Angeles Galaxy soccer camp ?
Founded in 1994, LA Galaxy has seen some of the best players in the world pull on the LA Galaxy shirt. The highest scorer for the club is Landon Donovan, one of the best American players in history. In 2007, the club signed global superstar David Beckham. Beckham had previously played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, probably the two biggest clubs in the world, so it was a serious achievement for LA Galaxy to pull off that transfer and it is without a doubt an iconic transfer.
On top of that, California is a wonderful place to visit. It has a captivating history, from the Gold Rush to the creation and meteoric rise of Hollywood to the innovation of Silicon Valley. If that does not tickle your fancy, then maybe the golden beaches or the acres and acres of the beautiful Yosemite National Park will instead. There really is something for everyone.

LA Galaxy has won the MLS Cup a record breaking five times. When considering the players and managers that have signed for the club, it is hardly surprising. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole are all players who have succeeded at the very top of soccer.
Ibrahimovic had a particularly entertaining stint with the American club, scoring an incredible 31 goals in 31 games, including one of the best debuts in the history of the club. He came on with 19 minutes to go, his team 3-1 down. He scored one absolute wonder goal before bagging the winner right at the end. He said after the game: “The fans were shouting “We want Zlatan”. I gave them Zlatan”.
All to say that LA Galaxy are a club that understand how to work with great soccer players, and know how to develop younger players. What better place for a soccer camp ?
