South Los Angeles is a multifaceted area, blending cultural diversity, urban energy, and rich history. It features iconic neighborhoods like Inglewood, South Central, and Watts, which are birthplaces of numerous artistic, musical, and social movements.
This constantly evolving sector benefits from significant urban renewal projects, with the emergence of modern parks, sports infrastructure, and new schools. The SoFi Stadium, a recent architectural marvel, symbolizes this dynamism by hosting world-class sporting events.
South L.A. is also home to a vibrant and passionate youth deeply involved in sports, particularly soccer, basketball, and track and field. The sporting Facilities
The Toyota Sports Complex is a vast sports complex spanning approximately 45 acres dedicated to outdoor sports. It includes eight softball fields overlaid with seven football fields, three synthetic turf football fields, a 7v7 arena field, batting cages, two playgrounds, concession stands, and restrooms.
This complex is renowned for its versatility, hosting adult leagues, youth tournaments, training camps, and various community events. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean provides a pleasant atmosphere for sports activities. The Toyota Sports Complex is thus an ideal location for sports enthusiasts of all ages, combining quality facilities with an attractive natural environment.
Catering and food
Each day, the lunch break will be between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM. We encourage you to pack a full meal for your child, along with a water bottle or reusable drink container to ensure they stay well-hydrated throughout the day.
Don’t worry: during training, regular breaks are scheduled to allow children to quench their thirst and enjoy a small snack provided by FC Barcelona. Everything is arranged to combine energy, recovery, and enjoyment in the best possible conditions.
Safety and security
FC Barcelona football camps are led by qualified coaches, carefully selected and trained according to the demanding standards of the Barça Academy. Each coach is officially validated by the club, ensuring guidance that adheres to the Barça philosophy, combining technical excellence, active teaching, and benevolence.
The safety of the children is an absolute priority: everything is arranged so they can develop in a structured, supervised, and reassuring environment. From the first day to the last, young players are attentively looked after, ensuring a soccer week that is as enriching as it is secure.
