Train where America’s future pros are made: IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is one of the most prestigious sports academies in the world. The camp welcomes boys and girls aged 9 to 18 on a top-of-the-range campus with 16 natural grass pitches, a stadium with video facilities, a state-of-the-art gym and a mental performance department.
The programme offers two training sessions a day, physical preparation and group mental performance sessions, built around 6 areas: technique, game situations, advanced techniques, competition, physical and mental. Every participant receives a personalised final assessment, an Under Armour T-shirt and backpack, and a one-year IMG Academy Essentials membership.
Accommodation is in the campus residence: modern twin rooms with private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. All meals are served at the campus restaurant (balanced buffet). A day camp option (without accommodation) is also available.

Location
The IMG Academy campus is located in Bradenton, Florida (West Coast), just 12 minutes from Bradenton Beach. It is therefore a dream location for a high-quality football camp with top-of-the-range facilities.
This part of Florida is authentic, with a genuine local atmosphere. Its sunny beaches will delight your children during their football camp. There are also unspoilt landscapes and natural areas to explore. A complete change of scenery awaits your child.
Being by the sea means a pleasant climate all year round, giving your children ideal conditions for their football camp.
Accommodation
The great advantage of the IMG camp is that it has its own residence on campus: a high-end residence with modern twin rooms, each with a private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Participants also have access to the hotel facilities, including a superb outdoor swimming pool. There is also a smoothie bar, movie nights and activities in the common areas. It is the perfect place to enjoy free time during the camp week and soak up the sun with teammates. An incredible experience awaits your child, even off the pitch.
The sporting Facilities
When it comes to sports facilities, this is top of the range and the very best the United States has to offer. IMG Academy is a world leader among sports academies, and the campus lives up to that reputation.
For football, 16 natural grass pitches are available to the children. There is also a football stadium with changing rooms, a meeting room and the option to film matches for video analysis. Players have access to facilities worthy of the biggest football teams.
Players also have access to an ultra-modern gym with all the equipment they need, allowing them to work on strength, power and cardio.
In their free time, they can also use the hotel facilities, such as the basketball and beach volleyball courts or table tennis.
Catering and food
IMG Academy puts the children’s performance at the heart of its project, and nutrition is essential. The children have access to a buffet provided by The Servery, the camp restaurant. They have 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. As they do a lot of sport, the staff make sure that each child gets the nutrition they need to perform.

At an extra cost, they can also enjoy a pizza restaurant, a bakery and food trucks on campus.
Safety and security
Safety is IMG Academy’s number one priority. Each residence has its own supervisors who ensure the children’s safety and wellbeing. There is also a security company on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, managing security both on campus and at the entrances. Every entrance is controlled and access is restricted to IMG Academy staff.
IMG Academy also has a partnership with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, highly regarded in the United States, which ensures very rapid care in the event of injury or accident.

Training
IMG Academy offers a comprehensive training programme designed to help every player reach their development goals, whatever their position or level: from first-time campers to high school players preparing for college recruitment. The programme combines individual work, small-group work and real match situations.
Each camp week includes:
- 2 football training sessions per day (morning and afternoon)
- physical preparation: strength and conditioning
- group mental performance sessions
The IMG Academy methodology covers 6 development areas:
- Technique: first touch, passing accuracy, dribbling and shooting
- Game situations: positional play, use of space, transitions and reading the game
- Advanced techniques: attacking and defending 1v1, set pieces and advanced tactics
- Competition: small-sided games and performing under match pressure
- Physical: speed, agility, endurance and injury prevention
- Mental: confidence, communication, decision-making and pre-match preparation
What sets IMG Academy apart is the personalised training available through its options:

Goalkeeper-specific camps are also available for ages 12 to 18. Your child will come away with a better understanding of the game, of their body and of everything that makes a top-level footballer.
Coaches and coaching method
At IMG Academy, players are coached by expert, qualified coaches with years of experience at the highest level. With more than 40 years of experience developing athletes, the academy has built a methodology that has already helped several players reach MLS and many more join NCAA Division I universities.
The methodology covers every aspect of the player:
- Technique: first touch, passing, dribbling and shooting
- Reading the game and tactical work
- Small-sided games and competition
- Physical: speed, agility, endurance and injury prevention
- Mental preparation: confidence, communication, decision-making and pre-match routine
Position-specific work is also available. Your child will receive complete training and advice from the best professionals.
Staff and activities
When players are off the training pitches, they are supervised by IMG Academy staff who look after their wellbeing and organise activities during free time. This strengthens the bonds between players even when they are not training and builds team spirit.
Activities vary: poolside movie nights, beach volleyball tournaments, pool games, painting workshops and more. All these activities are led by youth workers.
The children will have an unforgettable experience, with memories made both on and off the football pitch.
Trips and days out
A football camp should also include fun moments off campus so that our players can recharge and relax. That is why excursions are part of the IMG Academy football camp programme.
